Template:Character This unnamed victor from District 9 was a winner of an unspecified Hunger Games, in which she was the last surviving tribute. In the years following her victory, she became a mentor to other tributes reaped from her district. In 75 ADD, she was reaped once again for the 75th Hunger Games in which she died on the first day of the games.

Biography[]

The unnamed female victor was born in District 9, known for its main export of grain and as one of the poorer districts. Between the ages of 12 and 18, she was presumably reaped for the Hunger Games, as it is unlikely she volunteered as she was not from a career district. Ultimately, the female victor won the games, outliving the other tributes she was competing against.

In 75 ADD, following Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark's joint victory in the 74th Hunger Games which was seen as an act of defiance against the Capitol by many in the districts, it was decreed by President Coriolanus Snow that for the 75th Hunger Games and 3rd Quarter Quell, all tributes would be reaped from the existing pool of past victors. The unnamed victor and another unnamed male victor were both reaped for these new games, and were forced to prepare to enter the arena for a second time.

75th Hunger Games[]

During the chariot rides, as was custom, both the female victor and her district partner were dressed according to their district's export. During the tribute interviews, the unnamed female victor joined hands with the other 23 victors as a sign of solidarity following Peeta's revelation that Katniss was carrying his and her unborn child. In the ensuing panic, the broadcast was shut off and all victors were escorted back to their living quarters.

The unnamed female victor was killed in the initial cornucopia bloodbath once the games began along with her district partner. It is unknown if she was a part of the rebel alliance to protect Katniss.
