The District 4 Male participated in the 74th Hunger Games, along with his District Partner.
Biography[]
74th Hunger Games[]
The District 4 male may have been reaped for the 74th annual hunger games, although it is also likely that he could have volunteered due to his district being a "career" district. Like the other twenty three tributes, he and his district partner were dressed in costumes that represented their district's main export during the chariot rides upon arriving in the Capitol. He presumably showed up for training. Like the other tributes, he was subjected to an individual interview with Caesar Flickerman prior to the games.
The District 4 male was killed in the initial cornucopia bloodbath, which was unusual as he was presumably a career tribute. Katniss Everdeen was surprised by his death upon seeing the faces of the dead tributes on the first night, as he was a Career. His district partner however, survived the bloodbath, but was later killed by Katniss after she cut down a tracker jacker nest to attack the careers. His DNA was later to used to create a wolf-like muttation in his likeness, which helped chase final three tributes, Katniss Everdeen, Peeta Mellark, and Cato on the final day of the games. It is unknown if his mutt survived. The District 4 male placed somewhere in between 24th and 14th place.
